Shout out to Nathan Burney for creating this political comic:
The book Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand also carried such themes and this famous quote exemplifies it.
"Did you really think we want those laws observed?" said Dr. Ferris. "We want them to be broken. You'd better get it straight that it's not a bunch of boy scouts you're up against... We're after power and we mean it... There's no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren't enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What's there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that's the system, Mr. Reardon, that's the game, and once you understand it, you'll be much easier to deal with."
The recent publishing of the book "Three Felonies A Day" conclusively proves what the comic says is true.

The average professional in this country wakes up in the morning, goes to work, comes home, eats dinner, and then goes to sleep, unaware that he or she has likely committed several federal crimes that day. Why? The answer lies in the very nature of modern federal criminal laws, which have exploded in number but also become impossibly broad and vague. In Three Felonies a Day, Harvey A. Silverglate reveals how federal criminal laws have become dangerously disconnected from the English common law tradition and how prosecutors can pin arguable federal crimes on any one of us, for even the most seemingly innocuous behavior. The volume of federal crimes in recent decades has increased well beyond the statute books and into the morass of the Code of Federal Regulations, handing federal prosecutors an additional trove of vague and exceedingly complex and technical prohibitions to stick on their hapless targets. The dangers spelled out in Three Felonies a Day do not apply solely to "white collar criminals," state and local politicians, and professionals. No social class or profession is safe from this troubling form of social control...
There are no innocent people. Just people who have not been convicted of a crime yet.
This is not just modern problem as George Orwell understood it. The origins of social control goes back thousands of years to biblical times. Why was Jesus crucified and what actual crime did he commit? Who were his accusers? The truth is the crime was that he 'worked' on the sabbath which in those times was punishable by death. Jesus angered the money changers in the temple when he threw them out of the Temple of Solomon. The money changers went to the Pharisees to see if they could accuse him of a crime. The term Pharisee has the same root origin as the word Pharaoh. It means ruler or law maker and when Hebrews came out of Egypt they kept the law making social control of the Pharaohs and made it their own. So when the Pharisees saw Jesus help a sick man on the Sabbath they say that he had broken then law and should be put to death. When asked why the same law was not used on the money changers the Pharisees replied: The law is for thee not for me, peasant.
Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it. Liberals are the modern day Pharisees and they rule in the same manner that was used to oppress people thousands of years ago. Religion is only used as an excuse to oppress people. Freedom comes from the creator and is beyond the reproach of any law. Distrust any liberal who speaks of law or says it is for your safety for they no nothing of the creator's law. The liberal law maker is a lying wretch that will say or do anything to win your compliance. Whatever you do, DO not give it to them. They cannot rule you with out your consent. That is the metaphysical law of the universe whether you believe in the creator or not. Hitler ruled because people went along with it. Stalin ruled because people went along with it. No dictatorship has ever ruled without the consent of the people even if the people give their consent out of ignorance.
You want Freedom... Do NOT consent. Do NOT comply. It is simple as that.

Fourth Wave Feminism
A few decades ago, a Man could work 40 hours a week and support a spouse and kids on a single income. Then Women starting entering the workforce. Which resulted in real wages going down as the labor supply doubled. Women entering the workforce should have allowed Men to work less hours. Instead, we have a situation where everyone is working and kids getting neglected. Halving the workweek would once again allow a 40 hour workweek to support a family. Where 2nd and 3rd wave feminism failed is they ignored the economic consequences of women entering the work force. When you double the size of the labor pool it cuts the value of the labor pool in half. It is basic supply and demand. This created an economic injustice that can only solved by a 4th wave of feminism. The conservative wave. Many people in the country work bullshit jobs that either create no value or actively harm society. What is the point of telemarketers? What is the point of secretaries in a world were calendar apps
What if the only conspiracy is...
What if the only conspiracy is the ruling class showing class solidarity with each other? The ruling class promotes ideologies of individualism, while tending to act as a class. Many of what we call ‘conspiracies’ are the ruling class showing class solidarity. What benefits one billionaire tends to benefit all the billionaires. What do billionaires care if jobs get outsourced over seas? They don't care, not even a little. It doesn't effect them because they don't have jobs. They aren't workers. Their income comes from the the passive nature of capital accumulation and asset price inflation which are ultimately destructive to society as a whole. Members of the billionaire class downplay the role of ‘solidarity’ and ‘collectivity’, while always promoting the idea that they are "Sell Made." It is one of the big lies of our time. They didn't earn that wealth. What holds members of the elite together is mutual fear. FEAR that people will rise up against if they learned the truth. Epstein
Trumps SPACE FORCE has existed for decades.
Trump's "space force" is a classified Secret Space Program that has existed for decades.
We are already living in a "Star Wars" type society.
Truth of the matter is humans have already walked on Mars. This happened decades ago when US astronauts landed on Mars in the 1970s. They never told the public because someone already beat us to the RED planet. Worst of all it was the Nazis who beat us. This could not be told to the public because it would cause panic and upend the entire world.
The top two pictures are German WW2 Mess kit spoons. The lower photograph was taken by the curiosity rover on Mars in 2016. The similarities between the Germ
Trump really is an awful President
Despite all the distractions, conspiracy theories, and even despite my own initial support for him that it would be "different this time" Trump really is turning out to be a shitty president. Trump has had more than enough time to implement his campaign promises but ultimately failed to deliver. He promised to bring the troops home and get America out of the middle east. He promised to punish corporations that sent jobs overseas. He has done nothing. He failed to repeal and replace Obamacare. He reneged on his promise to support universal healthcare.
It is time to hold this liar accountable. He is lying about the economy saying it is great

A well written and informative piece, but I fail to see how it relates directly to liberalism. Yes, in a superficial manner it does, but I don't see a correlation in reality. If anything, each side of the spectrum blaming such problems on the other allows them to continue, if/when the vast majority of citizens stood up and said "we don't care who did it, this is wrong, end it" the problem will be resolved. As long as we insist upon splitting ourselves along the ideological lines we can see being continually reinforced by politics and media then the situation will only grow worse. Global politics today revolves more around the bias towards money for the top than liberalism/conservatism. Not to say that there is a big conspiracy or that this was planned out decades ago by some sinister shadow-council (if world government did so, then they have done a better job at that than any government has done at anything in human history), but playing into the political bickering is just going to perpetuate the situation.
People with different opinions are not the problem. People who serve themselves over the whole are the problem.
But back to the original point, I agree there are WAY too many laws. The weight and scale of legality is mind-boggling and ineffective at promoting the nation's success.
